Using the library and its facilities

External Book Clubs Which Use KFPL Meeting Rooms

1. PURPOSE

In accordance with its mission statement, the library encourages individuals and community groups to organize and run book clubs.
 

2. POLICY

The library will waive the room rental fees for book club meetings as long as certain conditions are met.
 

3. REGULATIONS

To be eligible for free room bookings, the book club must meet the following criteria:

• It must meet during library hours.
• It must submit an application for room rental and request the fees be waived.
• It must have an open membership policy.
• It must advertise its meetings within the library and on the library's website.
• It must keep the library informed of what its members will be reading.
• It must have a regular contact person.

The library reserves the right to review its permission for usage of the meeting room at any time.
